How to screencasts using Hitachi Starboard and Camtasia by Patty O'Flynn

Patty O'Flynn put together a short series of screen casts on how to capture video and then edit and reformat it to post it to the Web. While at Woodland Patty regularly had her students producing their own webcasts of various math problems.

apt-get install gtk-recordmydesktop mencoder kdenlive

The command line to transcode .ogv file to .avi...

mencoder -idx original.ogv -ovc lavc -oac mp3lame -o new.avi
